    As of September 30, 2003, Natural Resources Canada will no longer be subsidizing the support for Compusult's Meta Manager through the Geoconnections Discovery Portal. Of course you may still use Meta Manager, but to take advantage of the many benefits of Meta Managers comprehensive Annual Support Program you must now pay an annual support fee of $1,000 CDN.

    No Money is required now. To ensure that your support continues uninterrupted just fill in the
    online form and one of our sales associates will be in contact with you to confirm your order and arrange for payment.

Annual Support Program benefits:

  • Compusult Response Center Hotline

    The Compusult Response Center is here to provide comprehensive, unlimited, technical support and information via phone and e-mail to Meta Manager clients. The Compusult representatives are trained experts for problem resolution, documentation clarification, and technical guidance to ensure your satisfaction. The Annual Support program is unlimited in the number of calls or e-mails, the number of questions users may have, or the amount of time spent on the call.

    The Compusult Response Center provides on-line and toll-free telephone technical support services between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm Newfoundland time (Eastern Time + 1.5 hours).
     
  • Order Meta Manager Support

    Patches and No Cost Meta Manager Upgrades.

    Participants in the Meta Manager Annual Support Program also receive, upon request, all patches and upgrades of software during the support program period, at no charge. New capabilities included in the latest version of Meta Manager include the following:
    • Meta Manager WFS - Data sources are exposed using the OGC WFS protocol.
    • Support for ISO 19115 metadata specification (once approved for use in North America).
    • Web Feature Portrayal Service (WFPS) - That allows users to expose data sources as an OGC WMS using style sheets. For example, a satellite metadata database containing footprints can have the footprints rendered as a WMS layer. The map client can then request a GetFeatureInfo request to obtain the full metadata record about the selected item.

      Note: Clients that wish to upgrade their current version of Meta Manager but have not participated in the Annual Support Program on a continual basis may either pay the past due support fees or repurchase the software at a cost of $6,995.00 CDN.

    Compusult On-line Support System

    Through the Compusult On-line Support System, we provide access to a vehicle by which Meta Manager clients can interactively log or update technical questions and issues, view status information, order product updates, or access current technical support information.
