Evaluation Software Requirements and Installation Instructions

There are three different download packages for Meta Manager 4 and each has a different set of system requirements and installation instructions as outlined below:

NOTE: All versions of the Meta Manager Server require a licence key that must be obtained by contacting Compusult Limited at 1-888-388-8180 or licence@compusult.nf.ca

Installation Instructions

Meta Manager 4 Server software for Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0^® using Oracle 7.3^® or Oracle 8.0^® and Meta Manager 4 Administrator software for Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT Workstation 4.0^® .

Meta Manager 4 Server software for SUN Microsystems Solaris^® using Oracle 7.1.6^® or later and Meta Manager 4 Administrator software for Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT Workstation 4.0^®.

Meta Manager 4 Server software for Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0^® using Microsoft Access^® and Meta Manager 4 Administrator software for Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT Workstation 4.0^® .

Testing Your Installation

Once Meta Manager has been installed and configured, you can test your new installation by using our Meta Miner Clearinghouse Tester Gateway.  Just go to:

metaminer.compusult.nf.ca

and log in using your ID and Password previously assigned. Once logged in, click on the maintenance button to add your collection to the Clearinghouse. Once added, you can now search your data!
